TCR offers three methods for finding inventory item:
TCR has standard barcode interface. The best type of barcode device to use is laser omnidirectional scanner or handhold CCD scanner. With barcode scanner attached to this system you have fastest and most accurate checkout system available to any retailer. TCR automatically recognizes that barcode scanner sends data and instantly finds inventory item with that barcode label number.Cashier can enter item price using standard keyboard when item has not barcode label, or when cashier decides to use item price. Program then will toggle to price finding method automatically and will find inventory item with that price instantly. There is no need for pressing some toggle buttons that enables price finding method. TCR does that automatically.
By especially designed description item finding system and article group by category system, cashier can instantly find item using only standard keyboard, without thinking about its barcode number or its price. Each cashier can group items in associating groups as he wishes. Each article group has own access button on display. Position of any article group access button can be simply manipulated by dragging and dropping this button to different access place. When button is accessed, list of items for that group is appeared. Cashier than types only few first letters from item description name in order to enter this item.
